We have seen milestones in female sports over the past years. From the USA Women’s Soccer team dominating, to the WNBA taking off. Females have come a long way for their spot in sport. Nike celebrates the 40th anniversary of Title IX with a short film entitled “Voices.” The film highlights personal stories from four legendary female athletes including Joan Benoit Samuelson, Lisa Leslie, Marlen Esparza, and Diana Taurasi. The film premieres on the Nike Women Facebook page on June 23 and will run on ABC Family on June 23, and on ESPN June 26. Check out the video below. You never know we may see a WNFL one day.
